Job Seekers… This group meets Wednesday mornings, from 9-10:30am, in room 107. This is a prayer and encouragement group for those seeking employment. We have room for you! Four of our members; Benny, Ginger, Den, and Jody are now fully employed. Praise God!

Camping or Day Trip in Carlsbad… At the Pelican Point Group Camp Site, at the South Carlsbad State Beach, Friday, August 9th, starting at 2pm, through Sunday, August 11, at 12pm. Hosted by the Families of Faith Class. There will a be kid-friendly, family devotional time in the Word on Saturday evening and group meal. Also, s’mores and singing by the fire, fishing, surfing, beach activities, leisure walks, and bicycling on trails. Day passes are available for Saturday. Children
Children’s Sunday School at 9am... Children under two years are in the church nursery; two year olds to Kindergarten are in room 8; 1st and 2nd graders are in room 24; and grades three through six are in room 21. Sixth grade students may attend Junior High Sunday School.
Church Time Children’s Programs... Children under two years are in the church nursery; two and three year olds are in room 7; and four year olds to Kindergarten are in room 8. Elementary children go to the church service until they are dismissed, prior to the sermon, to go to room 28. They will be escorted by church staff.
Women
GEMS (Grant Everyone Memory Sharing)… On the first Monday of the month, from 10:30am-12noon, in room 201. This group is for single ladies of any age. We will have a time of fellowship, sharing personal memories of God’s blessings, and singing our favorite old hymns.
Dorcas Circle Crafts every other Wednesday… From 10am-2pm, in room 5. Everyone is welcome to join Dorcas on the first and third Wednesday of every month. Crafts made will be displayed at our Christmas Boutique. Donations raised are used to help support missionaries and various missions projects.
Summer Coffee Breaks are coming… Save these dates—Thursday, July 18th and August 15th, in the Worship Center. The theme is “Women of the Bible”. Be prepared to enjoy drama, special music, and fellowship!
Women’s Retreat—Save the Date… October 11-13, at Tahquitz Pines. Our speakers are Wendy Hinman and Debbie Walton. The topic is “Dressed for Success”. The Lord wants to fill our prayer closets with a wardrobe that will turn hearts, not heads. In Ephesians, Paul gives us a dress code that fits every situation we will face. Saturday Morning Bible Study “Sonship”... In room 5, at 7:30am. For three weeks, we are going to study how the Apostle Paul’s life was impacted by the Gospel, and how we can benefit from what Paul learned and wrote. Read Galatians ahead of time. Bring your Bible and a friend. We will provide the fellowship, fun, and food.

Students
Jr. High Sunday School...Come join us as we do a mini-series on three of the Missionaries that we support. All 6th – 8th graders are invited to join us in room 205 at 9am.
Sr. High Sunday School...We are currently studying “Beyond the Road”, a study in the book of Romans. Our lesson theme for next week: All believers should honor and love one another. We meet in room 206 and start at 9am.
Rejoice Theater...Come have a great time as Ms. Freddi Wells helps us cultivate the talents that God has given us. We will begin developing some skits for the specific ministry opportunities that God has provided. We meet every Friday evening from 7-8:30pm, in room 305.
Psalms 144 Ministry...Come and have a great time as Kris Nielson teaches us Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, along with leading us in our study from the book “Overcoming the Enemy” by Charles Stanley. So bring your Bible, gym shorts and T-Shirt and be prepared to have a good time. This is for all students 6th grade and up. We are now meeting every week on Thursday from 5:45-7pm. Parent permission slips are required before participation and can be picked up that evening or by contacting Terry Statzer (760-518-3767 or tstatzer@3c.org).
