Women’s Ministry provides opportunities for women to walk with Christ, growing in greater intimacy with Him through dynamic Bible studies, small groups, outreach programs, retreats, prayer, and discipleship.

WOMEN IN GOD’S WORD--Bible Studies

We will have Bible Study on
Wednesday and Thursday

These studies run from September through May. 
Childcare available Wednesday evening and Thursday morning by prearranging through your Bible Study leader.

6:30-8:30pm-“David, Seeking a Heart Like His”, a 10-lesson Beth Moore study with DVD. Leaders, Debbie Hill and Janelle Statzer. In the Dyer room. Cost for workbook is $17.25

  • 9:00-11:00am-The Hebrews study resumes with lesson 11 of the Navigators Life Change Series study book.   Newcomers  welcome.  Teacher Lila Blinco. In the Dyer room. Call Lila at 760-753-0059 if you need a book.

9:30-11:30am-Tapestry class- “Spiritual Warfare” study book by Dr. David Jeremiah. Teacher, Ellen Parker. In room 202. Cost for study book is $4.00

9:30-11:30- “The Mercy Prayer,” by Robert Gelinas. Ten-week discussion group using our Bibles, audio clips and book by Robert Gelinas. . Leader, Judith Dahlberg.   In room 303N.  Cost for book is $13.50; or you may down load the e-book for $9.99

Fall Retreat ~ October 2014

  

Women’s Retreat…. The annual retreat will be held at Tahquitz Pines Conference Grounds, in Idywild, on October 10-12th.  The guest speaker Laura Georgakakos,  "Eyes on the Prize-A Focused Life”, from Psalm 25:4-5.  Registration will begin Sunday, August 24th, at the Women’s Cart on the Patio.  A $50.00 deposit is required when you register.  The balance will be due by  September 21, 2014.  Prices are listed on the registration form. ACCOUNTABILIY  GROUPS

“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2

 Small, multi-generational groups of women, no more than four, meet regularly to encourage each other to love and good works.

 

PRAYER

“Pray without ceasing”I Thessalonians 5:17

 Join other women each week as they spend time together in prayer.

 

CIRCLE FELLOWSHIPS

Small groups meet monthly on various Thursdays for fellowship and support of missions.  Current Circles are Rachel, Ruth, Deborah, Martha, and Dorcas.

 The Dorcas Circle, otherwise known as Heavenly Handcrafters, meets twice a month on the first and third Wednesdays. It is designed especially for those who wish to use their hands and these crafts are sold at the Christmas Brunch Boutique.

Women In God’s Service (WINGS)

A woman’s outreach of visitation committed to regularly bringing comfort, prayer and joy to other women who are temporarily or permanently house-bound. Monthly meetings are held to support and give guidance and training to those who are serving.
